A choir program built to last.

Hamilton Choirs is the vocal music program of Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. Four ensembles, one choir room, and a tradition of singers who stay all four years.

The program

Serious music, warm room.

Students learn healthy singing, music reading and how to make one sound with forty other people. Repertoire runs from Renaissance madrigals and spirituals to jazz and new choral writing.

Outside the concert hall, the choir sings the national anthem at assemblies, carols at district offices and memory care centers every December, and travels: NAU's Jazz-Madrigal Festival in Flagstaff, clinics with ASU choral faculty, and tours to California.

Student officers in each choir plan the retreat, socials and senior spotlights. Ask any senior and the favorite memory is rarely a song. It is the people.
